Jerry Gregoire KD7WLX, Vice President called the meeting to
order at 7:01 PM.
Introductions:
Secretary’s report (Don Wilson KC7EWZ).
The minutes were amended to say that in School news, the club voted to
give the radio and microphone to the school club.
Treasure’s report (relayed from KI7XF) $2487.38
Committee reports:
ERA: NR
SAR: No Calls
SCHOOLS: K7CUB- The contest “School Club Roundup” is coming
up in February. Anyone that would
like to help the kids during that time, contact K7CUB.
VE Testing for new ham licenses.
There is testing this Saturday 12/7/2009 in the SAR building
at
9:00 a.m.
N7ODN explained
again the formula for the testing schedule.
Tests are offered during the months of March, June, September, &
December. These occur on the
Saturday after the first Thursday of the month.
Club Parts: WA7U- Need to make an order
DX and Contesting: WA7U – Todd noted that Gene Shea KB7Q and
he had competed in the CQWW contest November 28-29.
He thinks they may have set some records and will keep us posted.

Old Business
N7FLT- He ordered and received the programming cable for the FT8800s the
club has. He reported that they
work fine.
X-mas party/program.
Jerry led a discussion that ended up with the following conclusions:
When: January 22 at the early time slot at the Oasis in Manhattan.
He will post confirmations of the above days and times on the
W7ED website.
He urges anyone that has ham radio photos to share to get them to him for
a slide show to be shown during supper.

NEW Business:
KI7OJ – Don mentioned that W7LR has a lot of hardware he
would like to get rid of as he must be cleaning house.
Help him out by paying him a visit and taking some stuff off his hands.
