Secretary’s Report: was discussed, nobody had any objections.

Treasures report:

KI7XF: $2525.69 this is with ham fest building and insurance paid for.

Announcements:

 N7ODN: He passed a card from Fran Goosey around to the group.

N7ODN: passed around the current sign up for the post Christmas party (1/17/09) for confirmation.

Jack:   1. Sent donation to Michael J Fox research in name of club.  This was in memory of Mal N7GS.

            2. Fran – has lots of ham related documents.  She invited club members to ask Jack or Fran about them.

Jerry Gregoire:   Passed around a sign up sheet for presentations thru the year.  Some ideas were mentioned for club meetings.

Committee Reports:

ERA: W7LR – Dues are due.  Bridger, KI7OJ is organizing a trip.  Possibly next wed.  Need to install battery hook up to the 88 repeater. 

VE:  AD7RB: The next class will be in March on the weekend after the club meeting.

REPEATERS: KI7XF: Everything is working

SAR: A call for rescue.

K7CUB: CJMS: Working on the antenna.  School club roundup is the week of Feb 9.  We need assistance.  We can have 24 hrs of operation from Monday till Friday.

 FLT would like assistance with the school club. Possibly building some electrical Kits.

Need volunteer every Monday. 

WA7U asked about Carol Westberg’s equipment that was sold at the ham fest and the proceeds were to go to the school club.  Vivian said that there is still only one club even though it is in a new building.   Vivian is trustee for the club.  Rachael is on the account also. The balance of club books is about $1000. 

Gallatin RF parts:  WA7U:  $367.  Will be ordering Coax.  PL259s and other connectors. 

Old Business: 

Dave: Saturday Breakfast:  7:45.  Been getting about 3 people.  All are welcome. 
Dave will put out some reminders.

Post Christmas party:  1/17/09 

            After a fair bit of discussion, it was decided to hold the post Christmas party at the Oasis.  It will be held in the primary dining room.  Order off the menu of a selection of about 6 predetermined entrees.  The Party will be allowed to stay for two and a half hours.

NEW Business:

KC7EWZ moved to donate 50.00 to Todd Gansel for his travel money.  He declined but suggested we make a donation to MT traffic net.  It was approved.  Harely will take care of it.

Club insurance is due.  $320 moved and passed unanimously.

KI7XF: 104.81 Ham fest cost for the building.  Payment was approved.

KI7XF 23 fox hunts last year.  It cost 231.50 in pizza. Does the club want to continue funding this project?   Some discussion ensued.  Passed 11/ 4 to continue pizza after foxhunts.
