Allan Schrum AI4RO called the meeting to order @ 7:02 PM. Followed by introductions

 

Old Business:

Minutes approved with minor corrections; Repeater + offset repeater is back in service, Thank you Harley Leach KI7XF ~ Don Wilson KC7EWZ motioned for the club to donate $ reimburse Harley, motion was seconded by Bruce Walker KE7SJZ and approved

~ Rich Michau W7AMT approved minutes, seconded by Eric Anderson KF7OLR

Treasurer's report: Eric Anderson KF7OLR Treasurer, No activity

VE Testing: Ray Babcock AD7RB will be there for the upcoming test on Saturday, needs a few more volunteers

~ Larry A. Springer K6PJ will be scheduling classes if there’s interest (Details on the bottom of the testing page on the w7ed website)

ERA: Directors info has been updated on the web

SAR: There have been a couple SARS; A collapsed hiker at Ainger Lake and a reportedly lost mushroom hunter at Fairweather

~ Don Wilson KC7EWZ and Harley Leach KI7XF have been working on the ham antenna at the SAR building in West Yellowstone

~72 repeaters working well, worked it with the dog training in West Yellowstone

School Club: Over for the summer

88 Net: Spotty

~Reminder: The 88 Net is held every Tuesday night at 8pm on 146.88 –offset 100hz tone. Anyone is welcomed to check in!

Foxhunt: Nothing

HF: Nothing

 

New Business:

Field Day: June 22-23, 2013

~There will be 2 stations under W7ED and 1 unofficial station

~Little Stinkers need to be prepaid for porta potty, all agreed check will be sent to them by the treasurer Eric Anderson KF7OLR, Wayd Walker KF7LVF motioned and Don Wilson KC7EWZ seconded (check was sent on 6/7/13)

~Please, if you are available to help set the antennas and tents up on FRIDAY that would be much appreciated

~Pot luck as usual

~Keep an eye out over the summer for a big tent that the GHRC can possibly purchase

~BBQs- Wayd Walker KF7LVF will bring his volcano and Jerry Gregoire KD7WLX will bring his BBQ

Greater Yellowstone Cycle Jerry Gregoire KD7WLX will be hosting a meeting Sat June 8^th @ 5PM with Jennifer Drinkwater and others to discuss specific needs and details

We need 8-10 volunteers per day

1-2 High point relays

~Everyone will need a mobile, external antenna, and a power source other than the cigarette lighter

Club Picnic Coordinator: Don Wilson KC7EWZ, picnic will be held on Wednesday, August 14^th, 2013, There will probably be foxhunts as well
