The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Jim Hall.

Introductions: All present introduced them selves.

Secretary’s report: The minutes were distributed, and approved.


Treasures report: Harley: $2420.06

Committee reports:

VE testing session: A request was made for help to administer an exam in Ennis to a candidate that could not come to Bozeman. There will also be a test in December.

SAR: There have been 2 or 3 missions that SAR HAMS have helped with by working in the office or going to the field for relay work.

School Club: N7FLT / K7CUB: Several meetings have been held. The students are getting time on the microphone and enjoying themselves. Thanks to those that have helped in making contacts with the students. Tune into 449.9 at 3:20 pm on Mondays to help with this project.


88 Net: Wayd (KF7LVF ) reported on the net and its participants.

Fox Hunting: No report.

HF Reports: N7FLT and W7LR reports openings on 10 meters and propagation seems to be improving.

Repeaters: Rick (KB7KB) reported that there were efforts to expand the ECHO link into Missoula on 146.92.

Rich (KF7LVE) reported that the ham group from Big Timber was trying to get the 146.664 back up on a location near Grey Cliff.

Rich (KF7LVE) commented from the hamfest committee that there were additions to the profits of 125$ from the club table and 147.80 from book revenue..


Announcements


Larry Springer K6PJ announced that the satellite launch of the MSU satellites was successful and the group was in the process of monitoring its progress. Go to HTTP://ssel.montana.edu/e1p for more information on this project.


Jack (N7ODN) announced that he had a box of book orders to deliver. See Jack if you didn’t get yours.

AA8Y Jim, appointed a nomination committee for election of officers to take place at the December meeting. They are K7CUB, KC7PFH, & KD7WLX.


Cyrus Smith has volunteered to organize a Christmas or New Year’s party. Thanks Cyrus! Thanks to Les AC7RY for doing the great party in Livingston last year!
