Allan Schrum AI4RO called the meeting to order @ 7:01 PM. Followed by introductions

 

Old Business:

Minutes approved

~ Don Wilson KC7EWZ approved minutes, seconded by Bruce Walker KE7SJZ

Treasurer's report: Eric Anderson KF7OLR Treasurer, Ending balance $2,384.74

~Income; Ridge Run $250, Cycle Greater Yellowstone $866.19 (reimbursements were made to the volunteers and to the Ham club $370.37 for batteries)

VE Testing: None. Next test is the 1^st Sat after the club meeting in December.

ERA: Working with First Interstate Bank, see Bob Leo W7LR if interested in bank statements

SAR: Board Meeting last Tuesday, discussion was held about the lights on the SAR building needing replacing and the need for more SAR hams.

School Club: Going good. At present we have about one 6^th grader and five 7^th-8^th graders

88 Net: NA

Foxhunt: One was held last Saturday. There is interest to have more foxhunts when weather is good. Harley Leach KI7XF will put out an announcement as to when they will take place

HF: NA

Holiday Dinner: Needs an organizer

GVHRC Officers: President and Vice President Positions need to be filled. Falicia Anderson KF7TAH has volunteered for secretary and Eric Anderson KF7OLR has volunteered for Treasurer. These positions will be voted on at the next meeting in Dec.

~President position is mostly organizational and runs the meetings

~Vice President is in charge of finding people to give presentations and sending out presentation reminders one week before presentation

~Please see the bi-laws for exact descriptions of position duties

New Business:

• Presentation needed for January
• Allan Schrum AI4RO talked about Oracle and an emergency support team being put together, for example Ham Stations
• Discussion about the GVHR website controller took place. Cyrus Smith NU7Q will host the project. Discussion about hiring a web host took place, Laura Svare KT9X has done it in the past and was paid $70 per year
