VE Testing: couple sessions coming up, testing

ERA: Deposited $500 from
the Ridge Run, paid Harley Leach KI7XF for hardware. Working on sight permit for Eagle Head. Chairman is now Dave

SAR: Pretty quiet summer, There
has been a few; South Cottonwood, Practice Rock and Ross Pass
School Club: Will
resume sometime in October
88 Net:
Foxhunt: maybe this fall
HF: slowly improving
Club Picnic: Thank you Don Wilson KC7EWZ! Picnic went well, around 35 people
attended
Field Day: 800+ stations worked. Thanks to everyone for setup
and to Dale Heidner W7NAV for use of his property
Greater Yellowstone Cycle: Thanks to Jerry Gregoire KD7WLX and to
all who prepared and participated. Overall it went very well
Thank you to Rick KD7KB for use of the repeater
Thanks to Don Wilson KC7EWZ, Don Godward N7FLT and Harley Leach KI7XF for the Comm. Manual (for
all the work to get that manual)
All positions were filled
First half of week went well, 2nd half had trouble with
fire lookout
Great experience for our club for multiple day event
700 riders, ride will get bigger each year
Next year the ride is around the Tetons
Happy with communications
Radios in sags worked well
Would like to set up some radios for ham use in different
situations
