Committee Reports:

HAMSAR:

Two rescues.

-Big sky lost snowboarder on back side of Lone Mtn. KC7EWZ responded to run mapping and gps’s for IC. Search went through three shifts. It started on a Saturday night and victim was found Monday about 11 am.

-Report of child endangerment by a river on Amsterdam road and bridge over the Gallatin River. A 4 year old child reported being alone near bridge and river and busy. Posse, and GVSA responded. KC7EWZ reported to the IC area in case hams were needed. N7FLT and KE7CLN reported to the SAR office in case they were needed. No use was made of HAMS.

-ICS training. Hams KJ7UN, KE7CLN and KC7EWZ Part of time) attended this ICS / Search management workshop.

 

ERA: Todd - Nothing

 

Robert KE7CLN –On the 14 of April if Heli can fly, will go to Bridger to install Data radio for reporting generator status. On the trip will be W7LR, KI7OJ, KE7CLN, KL7JGS.

KI7OJ – Will need to move 88 repeater so Greed A fram can get new floor.

 

Old Business:

Fairgrounds. Harley thru Todd reported that the fairgrounds charges lots of little stuff and the total price would be too much to consider.

 

KI7OJ. Shared some historical data from W7LR about Harley and Karla doing ARDFing in CQ magazine.

KC7EWZ mentioned that he had some club stuff. Wood covered scrapbook, and a W7ED flag.


New business:

N7FLT mentioned that rules for field day GOTO station were more complex and was not thinking of having a GOTO station

Class, jack 14 take exams 8 walkins 23 took exams and all upgraded. Techs and higher.
