OLD Business:

Insurance Harley- Looks like the approximate $320 from ARRL beats the rest of the quotes Laura and I were able to find. Motion to go with ARRL insurance for the club by KI7OJ, 2nd by AB7RB. And passed unanimously

Float trip - Robert - nothing much happening, contact Robert if you are interested in going. Preliminary discussion is for the 3rd week of June on about 120 miles of the Missouri from Coal Banks to Fred Robinson Bridge.

KI7XF - fox hunt - since 5th of march there have been 20 hunts, involving 8 hams. After the hunt the group meets for a after hunt treat at a restaurant. The cost so far has been $129.00 Is this something the club wants to endorse to continue. The club discussed the issues, motions made, 2nd and passed by voice vote with a minority voting against.

NEW Business:

Dave Has invited IEEE to Field Day. They will join the club for the SAT night picnic. In other Field day news, Dale will not be there but we are welcome. He said he would provide camper for GOTO station. Field day is the 4th full weekend in June.

Dave Brought up the proposal by Bill Jameson KC7UPK to do a propagation study for local area repeaters. His software needs some specific information to work with. Several trustees looked at the list and will get information to him.

KI7XF - Ask current status of Ed Lozano. Situation with ongoing RFI complaints by his neighbor. The situation was discussed

KI7XF - Brought up some changes that the Board of Glacier Waterton Ham fest is proposing. Mostly regarding catering meals with compenserate increase in fees to cover the expenses. Harley was urged to vote his conscience.

AA7GK: Shared that there appears to be plans to install a 100,000 watt TV station and a 50,000 watt radio station on the “Pea Cannery grain elevators on OAK just west of Rouse. This could have adverse effects on several radio repair shops in the area as well as the communication capabilities of the various EOC communication entities. Jeff will keep us posted on the list.

Dave A message from section manager Doug Dunn K7YD about some proposed changes to rules regarding bands and sub-bands. A comment period is coming to an end.
