AA7GK: This summer’s Primal quest race is in limbo because the course was published.

 

W7LR: Worked all counties in Japan, passed around some neat QSL cards.

 

KB7KB: Wally Byum convention here this summer.  There will be lots of ham stuff going on.  There will be increased ham activity (146.43)

 

Committee Reports:

 

ERA: W7LR- Nothing

 

SAR: PLB search.  Some discussion of the event by KC7EWZ

 

SMS school club: :N7FLT / K7CUB – School club roundup coming up 2^nd full week of February,  Net control operators are needed to help the kids.

 

Nets: - nothing

 

Old Business:  Some discussion of how the X-mas party went.  Todd said that there are hefty room charges in places.  Ric suggested possibly meeting mid-winter. For example mid January to avoid the Christmas rush.

 

NEW Business:

            N7FLT:  A Sheriff’s deputy (659) lost his house to fire during X-mas.  Moved to donate 100.00 to the help fund at the bank.  It passed unanimously

 

KI7XF:  seeks approval to pay the liability insurance. 320.00. moved, 2^nd, and passed.

 

AD7RB: A new technician course in 2008. 

            Costs: Manual – 25.00

            Fee – 14.00

Jerry Gregoire -  Seeking ideas for programs this year.  Let him know what you want.

 

Jack N7ODN: Would like to re-implement the concept of Elmers.

 

Tom Lewis AB5CK  He would like to Chair the hamfest.  He was elected chair for that effort.

 

Jack N7ODN: Would like to develop a “club calendar” get it on the web.   This would be a schedule of activities that GHRC normally participates in.
