Secretary’s report (KC7EWZ):

KC7EWZ was out of town and did not attend this meeting

The April Minutes were accepted:


Treasures report (KI7XF):

$60.00 was used for Post Office Box fee

$2854.38 currently in Treasury


Call for General Announcements:

W7LR brought up AD7RB’s operation to resolve his Parkinson's disease.

A get well card was given Ray and he was described to be in good spirits.

Unfortunately, his procedure was not successful.


ERA Business:

W7LR said the May meeting was canceled because Kathi was sick

W7LR also mentioned he will be assuming Treasure duties for ERA

About $900 currently in Treasury

When weather cooperates, they plan to “move the generator”


SAR:

N7FLT reported two events had occurred:

New World Gulch - Rescue/Recovery

Missing Child in Belgrade - Found


W7LR:

Mentioned KE7X had a Pace Maker installed and was doing well


School Club:

K7CUB said the kids enjoyed the fox hunt and learning how to solder

The kids hope the School Club season will begin sooner and last longer

K7CUB requested another net controller to help with the nets


Fox Hunt:

AB5CK reported on recent hunt

CQ Magazine has images of Bozeman hunts

The CQ Magazine World Wide Foxhunting Weekend will occur on May 15, 2010

There was discussion about KE7SJZ’s new ”secret weapon” RDF antenna

AB5CK offered KI7XF hunts on the regularly scheduled GHRC Saturday Hunts


Lewis and Clark Marithon:

Will occur on June 6, 2010 - Need volunteer radio operators

K7CUB will research how to obtain additional information and contact person


Payden Memorial Bike Ride:

Will occur in late July - Need volunteer radio operators


Field Day:

Brief discussion regarding moving to KE7SJZ’s QTH

Additional discussion will occur at June 3, 2010 GHRC meeting


146.82 Repeater:

K7CUB asked how this repeater is working

Discussion indicated intermittent operation in at least one direction with 146.88


South Pacific School Play:

WA7U said this play was provided by the Bozeman High School

WA7U provided a 1939 Sky Champion radio for use as a stage prop

KE7X provided a Sky Buddy radio for use as a stage prop
