Being a Volunteer Examiner [VE] is one of the many things you can do when you are a ham radio operator.

This involves volunteering your time to help test others
who are getting or upgrading their ham radio licenses. 
As a VE you can participate in classes, tutoring, or testing.

A few of us are involved in this, and it is a great way
for you to contribute to ham radio and your community.
