Due to the Corona Virus, the March GHRC meeting was held by a directed net on the 88. GHRC President Norm Reger KD7TQM directed the meeting. Meetings will be held on the 88 until further notice. Minutes will be taken but will not be official

ERA: Neil Ramhorst KL7JGS-There has been sizable donations (above $2,000) both through PayPal and by mail. We are still working on a grant from Oracle; they may match any contributions 1 for 1. Allan Schrum AI4RO is currently working this. Thank You.
-Insurance policy covers equipment etc. All equipment has been updated on the insurance policy. The building however was not covered but is now. This may cause our insurance to go up.
88 Repeater- Neil Ramhorst KL7JGS-The 88 has been having issues with sensitivity in the past. No problems lately.
-West Yellowstone repeater is good to go with DMR
MRLA dues/donations would be greatly appreciated as well as ERA and GHRC dues
88 Net: Ronnie Woods AI7DK-Is there anyone willing to be control operator on the possible 5th Tuesday of each month?

Treasurer’s Report: Eric Anderson AC7V Treasurer; starting balance of $1,583.90, income of $200.00 in dues, 0 expenses, ending balance of $1783.90
Ham test: Harley Leach KI7X- There were 12 scheduled takers, 2 no shows. Everyone passed, 1 failed to upgrade. Licenses were not issued for 2 weeks after possibly due to virus. There has been a request for another test session but due to the virus this will be postponed for now
ERA: Officers; Harley Leach KI7XF President, Neil Ramhorst KL7JGS Treasurer
• Neil Ramhorst KL7JGS put in for a grant to help with insurance and rent on Bridger Ridge. The grant is through Crazy Mountain Ranch. They have 2 repeaters on Bridger Ridge also. The grant has been approved but the amount is not known at this time
• Dues for ERA are due. You can pay through pay pal or give Neil Ramhorst KL7JGS a call or an officer

88 Net: Wayd Walker WA7YD-net has been going really well with quite a few check-ins and enough control operators
Foxhunt: Harley Leach KI7XF-There has been no foxhunts in a while. When the weather turns good an email will be sent out
HF: Todd Gahagan WA7U-20 meters, fta bands been good in northern Europe, Italy and Spain
Evening net don’t forget…Mt Net too
DMR: Norm Reager KD7TQM- going really well. Theres a few more stations on. Thank you Todd Gahagan WA7U for helping set up a DMR radio for a HAM in Helena. Please give DMR a shot it’s a lot of fun

Call to Order: Bruce Walker KE7SJZ called the meeting to order @7:00 PM. Followed by introductions.
Minutes: Accepted
Treasurer’s Report: Beginning balance; $1,590.00 Income from dues; $40.00 Expenses; $0.00; Ending Balance; $1,630. There has been a donation of $500 in the remembrance of Jack Meyers. This will be added to the next report
Ham test: Nine people took the test last session. The new digital formatting worked out really well. It made grading the tests real simple
ERA:
-Bridger Building: The estimate on the cost of the building was $35,000 too low. Bridger Bowl paid the difference. They will be paid back by with an interest free loan over a five year period. The rent for the building has doubled for everyone using the building including the hams. It will now be $125 per month for 88 months. The ERA is trying to come up with ways to afford these cost. –Donations can be made to the Eagle Head Repeater Association via pay pal. A donation of $500 was made to the ham club in remembrance of Jack Meyers N7ODN. It was voted and approved to give that money to the ERA.
SAR: Two events; One event was up Olson Creek and the other event was in Storm Castle. Both were snowmobile related
88 Net: There were ten hams that checked in last Thursday
Foxhunt: Harley Leach KI7XF- Hunts will start soon now that the snow is going away
HF: Don Godward N7FLT-It really stinks

Presentation: Jim Drummond WA7MKN shared Field Day pictures from 1969. They will be added to the web site. Jim also shared an article from 1970 about Field Day. A list of members from 1969 and 1970 was passed around and some old ham radio books to share. Thanks for sharing Jim!

SAR: Don Godward N7FLT: Searches have been mostly “leaving the last guy behind”, stuck atvs and a missing child found in the kitchen cabinet. Other than it’s been mostly quiet

• Gardiner/Livingston/Paradise Valley repeater: It’s a go! All that needs to be done is the lease put together and signed
• Website Updates: David Hohmann AG7DF-The web site had a bad bug, everything is good now. Continuing with updates and changes. Looking into getting a Facebook account for GHRC. If there is anyone interested in being administrator or an editor please let David know.
• HOA Bill:
• 2018 Dues are due (information on the bottom of the page)
o MRLA dues are needed to keep it up and running

New Business:
• ARRL-Technicians may have more access to HF frequencies
History of Ham license-still to be passed-Great YouTube video on the subject

• Field Day-Dale Heidner W7NAV will host but is asking GHRC to prepare everything for the event. This includes mowing, tent set up, etc.
